PvP Question

I know many will say I'm QQing, but I'm not. I'm just curious about a question. I was building a building last evening and along comes another player and bam I'm dead - no big deal - its a pvp server I should pay more attention.

So I run back to my chest (forget the actual name of it where your stuff drops in a locked chest) and there he is again waiting for me... bam I'm dead again. So being stupid I try to sneak back and bam dead. I only want honest answers and no 'Stop QQing' posts. Am i over reacting, or would that be considered griefing ? Its bad enough I'm like lvl 11 and I'm sure they are max level, but should I just be more careful and no run back like that or was the guy being a jerk ?

This is not griefing. Griefing on our server is where you destroy a structure or blocks, not killing someone over and over. Here that is considered spawn killing/spawn camping and it perfectly legal.

I suggest joining a town, they can offer some protection.

Gather friends, join a town that will protect you. There are no rules being broken if you choose to go back to that location, over and over again. Find a different one or wait until he leaves.

The wilds are a scary place when venturing alone. While I hate the fact that people do this, it is an hardcore RPG server.
