Pvp counter is broken, does not count kills or deaths.
Won't happen.Good, maybe people will stop camping newbies all day now
People cant grow their e-penis with killcounts and newbies dont drop any good loot, so there really isnt any point in people killing them, unless its for fun.Won't happen.
''omg dis nub die in 4 samurai sword hits, hah im so gud at dis game xddd''People cant grow their e-penis with killcounts and newbies dont drop any good loot, so there really isnt any point in people killing them, unless its for fun.
You'd be surprised at the acts people will commit 'for fun'.People cant grow their e-penis with killcounts and newbies dont drop any good loot, so there really isnt any point in people killing them, unless its for fun.
Yeh... definitely have plans for stats of sorts. The ELO system is heavily tied into it though which is the problem. It was intentionally disabled, but halfheartedly so, in my opinion. While many of the top pvpers asked for this to happen, I don't really think this is the result we were hoping for. Right now, everything is frozen in time, but still existent. Nothing ever changes. Not our elo, not our kills, not our deaths. Now, I agree that elo and killstreaks should not come back, but I, and many others, would still like to see things like kill count, deaths, and kd ratio be updated.
There was a big outcry a while back to disable PVP elo to prevent as much warshard camping and prevent players from being "scared" of losing their pvp ranking. The overall goal was to reduce noob harass while also promote natural world PVP. The goal of the outcry was to remove the elo ranking and /pvp top commands. Killstreaks are kind of nice, but they probably should not come back for the same reasons elo and /pvp top should stay out. However, these things still exist, but are merely frozen.

Are there any plans to re-introduce normal statistics (such as kills, deaths, and KD ratio), but remove elo and /pvp top?
To be honest I loved the killstreak system it made people want to go out and end the persons streak and it felt amazing when you would start on a roar. If those messages were added again I would be really excited... I was kind of sad when they were removed. The titles I can care less about but the global message saying so and so is on a killstreak just made me want to kill him or made me want to keep going it was motivating <3It was intentionally disabled, but halfheartedly so, in my opinion. I liked killstreaks as well, but what you are describing is part of the problem. People camp warshard to build their kills. They sit and farm the noobs like cattle, sometimes for hours. Then they cower and hide from the real PvP all for the sake of protecting their new killstreak. Even without warshard, the same kind of behavior occurs. To be honest I loved the killstreak system it made people want to go out and end the persons streak and it felt amazing when you would start on a roar. Well for the hiding with the killstreak I am sure you can add a timer so after a certain amount of time it would go away lets say 15 minutes... However it did promote a lot of camping but with a Karma update coming in this friday.... it will kill there karma for camping and they may think twice about doing that.I liked killstreaks as well, but what you are describing is part of the problem. While I do agree that they are "fun", they also cause a lot of issues to the PvP of the server. Perhaps it'd be nice to see them come back, but not now. Not when there is so few active PvP focused towns on the server.
In my honest opinion, karma system wont help anything with camping. If someone really wants to PVP or kill random people, then they choose to have Evil karma and thats it. If you want evil karma, you wont care about getting more evil from camping. The only way I would see it help against camping would be ruining the game for people with Evil karma, but that would be just horrible.Well for the hiding with the killstreak I am sure you can add a timer so after a certain amount of time it would go away lets say 15 minutes... Well quoting Kainzo evil players have a decent amount of disadvantages like higher exp loss etc. will make it hell for evil players going to level new classes just saying he may think twice. In my honest opinion, karma system wont help anything with camping. So its probably going into the direction of what I called "ruining the game for Evil people". MehWell quoting Kainzo evil players have a decent amount of disadvantages like higher exp loss etc. will make it hell for evil players going to level new classes just saying he may think twice.
