Current Profession Assignments​


Blacksmith - Metal weapons, armor, and tools


  • Weapons: SWORD, GREATSWORD, AXE, GREATAXE, HAMMER, GREATHAMMER, SPEAR, LANCE, HALBERD
  • Armor: PLATE armor (heavy metal armor)
  • Tools: Mining picks, axes, shovels
  • Consumables: Repair orbs, weapon/armor maintenance items

Enchanter - Magical accessories and enhancement items


  • Accessories: RING, AMULET, ARTIFACT
  • Items: Scrolls of Identification, magical catalysts
  • Consumables: Enchantment-related items, magical enhancement stones

Runesmith - Magical weapons and utility items


  • Weapons: STAFF, WAND, GREATSTAFF (magical focus weapons)
  • Accessories: BELT, TALISMAN
  • Consumables: Magical stones (Fireball, Skysmash, etc.), runes, magical scrolls

Farmer - Food, consumables, and organic materials


  • All food items and stat-boosting consumables
  • LEATHER armor (from animal hides)
  • Organic materials and ingredients

Miner - Gems, raw materials, and extraction tools


  • GEM_STONE items
  • Raw materials for other crafters
  • Mining-specific tools and equipment

Alchemist - Potions, elixirs, and chemical consumables


  • All potion-type consumables (health, mana, experience potions)
  • Chemical-based enhancement items
  • Transmutation materials

Suggestions for Missing Professions​


Engineer - Mechanical and technological items


  • Weapons: CROSSBOW, MUSKET (mechanical ranged weapons)
  • Accessories: BRACELET, GLOVES (mechanical/tech accessories)
  • New Item Types I'd suggest:
    • GADGET - Mechanical consumables with cooldowns
    • MECHANISM - Reusable utility items
    • CLOCKWORK - Automated enhancement items

Armor Type Assignments​

PLATE - Blacksmith (heavy metal armor) MAIL - Blacksmith (chainmail, lighter metal armor)
LEATHER - Farmer (tanned hides, natural armor) CLOTH - Enchanter or Runesmith (magical robes, enchanted fabrics)

Additional Suggestions​

New Item Types to Consider:​

  1. AMMUNITION - For Engineer (crossbow bolts, musket shots)
  2. REAGENT - For Alchemist (potion ingredients)
  3. BLUEPRINT - For Engineer (crafting recipes, schematics)
  4. CONTRACT - For Merchant (trade agreements, bonds)

Cross-Profession Materials:​

Create a material dependency system where:

  • Blacksmiths need Miner materials (ores, gems)
  • Engineers need Blacksmith materials (metal components)
  • Alchemists need Farmer materials (herbs, organic compounds)
  • Enchanters need Runesmith materials (magical reagents)
  • Merchants can source materials from anyone but at higher costs

Merchant Role Clarification:​

Since Merchants might seem weak compared to other professions, consider making them the intermediary profession:

  • They can craft quality-of-life items (identification tools, storage solutions, teleportation items)
  • They have exclusive access to certain rare materials through trade
  • They can create currency items and trade goods
  • They get better prices when buying materials from other players
  • They can craft contracts that give temporary bonuses when trading
