I'm proposing a "hunter" profession.
The hunter will be awarded xp for PvE activities.
killing mobs (hostile/nonhostile) would award xp
selling mob drops (non-rare) will also grant xp
Abilities would include
increased resistance to mob damage (passive)
more damage delt to mobs (passive)
The ability to stun mobs
The ability to increase mob drops
The ability to either attract or dispel mobs (if possible)
This would definitely promote township by a hunter collecting and bringing in large amounts of food/pelts/other drops to the town's markets.
Something could also be created similar to this for PvP (particularly the name: Assassin)
