Prof and Class gear Conflict

i am about to hit level 30 and wondering how Herocraft handles the conflict of gear between class and profession.

I was thinking of a Paladin Enchanter. However, does this mean i can not use over leather? The wiki states that you can not use over leather with Enchanter but Paladin says I could wear Diamond Chest and Legs.

You will always be able to use your highest gear tier...

aka - diamond armor as a pally/enchant
