Age|Timezone: Old enough to play | Australian east coast - approx 15 hours ahead of server time
How long have you been on Herocraft?: 2.5 years
Why do you think you would make a good proctor?:
I'm answering here with the understanding that the primary Proctor role, atm, is chat moderation.
I'm reasonably mature and generally good-natured. I try to step back from conversations to see the big picture. I endeavor to see things from the other person's point of view. I seek to treat people with respect, kindness, and light-heartedness.
There's getting to be a sense with some players that anything goes in chat when there are no admins or mods on.
The situations I'm seeing where I feel I could assist as a chat moderator include:
I'm on the other side of the planet from the majority of the server community, so I'm often on when server numbers are low and there are no senior staff ingame.
I can help share the load of chat moderation during these times, as well as during the more busy times when senior staff are otherwise occupied.

- players harassing other players or using colloquial terms for race, sexuality or gender as terms of vilification
- players advertising other servers
- players spamming chat intentionally, or accidentally with mis-run macros
- disgruntled players, past and present, taking advantage of the absence of senior staff to denigrate the server.
