Yep it is a way to bypass the application process. Costs $4.99 I think and grants almost instant whitelist ((Takes like 10 minutes sometimes to activate)).

Basically, we let paypal do the background check. If they can use paypal - that means they're of age or have parental consent, etc.

But what it doesnt do, is check to see if they are good person to be part of the server. (Bans, Alts, Ect)

Well if they aren't they will get banned and will lose their 4.99$ so I doubt someone will pay to join a server to get banned immediately.

This doesnt really apply to alt accounts, seeing how they the staff doesnt IP check every whitelisted account because there is just to many people getting whitelisted each day. The alts dont even act like the other person if they do want to play on the server

We can only check the IP addresses of people in game and on the forums. Shadow and I run through the names on here but not the MCF thread since we do not have access.

We do not even know to check for an Alt account in game unless someone reports it.

You would be surprised. We have had people who are banned on here buy a whole new MC account just to play again. It is "Herocrack" after all.

Personally I think that if you really want on the server you should have to go through the whitelist process like everybody else. No shortcuts.

Well that won't works for me since I'm 12 so I need like to wait a year to get my appliciance.

That's a lot of time in grey list (even though not a bad idea but...)
