Bug Potion's turned to water

Was just doing a little PvPing. Needed to drink a Healing Potion II and as I was in the process of drinking it, it then turned to water as if the item was glitched or something and was never actually a Healing Potion. Has anyone else experienced this bug?

And no the potions effects didn't still work.

Been trying to repeat the event but haven't been able to yet... maybe it was a freak accident lol who knows.

Mhmm yes, wasn't under it when I actually drank the potion. Not counting out the possibility of lag tho, that could have been the reason for the glass to change to a water bottle. However, that still doesn't change the fact that the potion itself had 0 effect. If the potion had worked I wouldn't have died in two hits about 5 seconds after I drank the potion.

When you were drinking the potion didnt you face the water?
If so then theres the problem and not a bug, you held right click down so as soon as you drank it it filled with water,
If not then thats odd

Honestly its possible that that's what happened, but why would the effect of the potion not work. I've tested drinking potions underwater just to be sure and they worked lol.

Could of been lag, the server could of seen the potion ful then started drink then lag then full of water and not seen the potion use, or it could be lag and problem with the heros plugin for potion use.
Who knows but I dont think its a big bug to worry about if you have tried it over and over again and it didnt happend again.

yeah I agree, seems like it was a random fluke I guess. Hopefully I won't be seeing it happen again, especially in a situation like that when I really needed it xD

it has happened to me before. but not your lucky situation where a healing II became a water bottle. Mine was turned into a Nonsplash poison II potion

Greek, itwas in the middle ofpvp. What other moment would I need to drink a health pot. The poison got me low enough to be killed
