Paper problem

Today on the new map I tried to craft paper for my skill bandage. I used the correct recipe and I'm a healer. Also I'm a level 12. So I don't know what's the problem. Shadownub said he used natural sugar cane and we crafted it into paper. But my suagr cane is from the furnace. It seems that furnace sugar cane cant be crafted into paper, Has anyone else have the same problem? Please tell me if you have and hopefully this can be fixed! Thanks, carlover1234

still having this issue

its works for like 3 mins.. then i go back to it and the paper i get from smelting saplings> sugarcane>paper

still wont make a book...........

This is still somewhat of an issue.

After the restart the other day throwing down saplings/sugarcane/paper will not allot for a book to be crafted.
