Its been a while since a new class system was introduced and I've had an obsession with the Jedi class from Star Wars Galaxies for quite some time. Not only was it an insanely hard class to level and master - but it was almost unobtainable by the normal player unless they were lucky or insane. We're bringing this game mechanic to Herocraft so players can experience a new style of play if they so desire. Some of the below information can and will change but the general idea is coming in.


Order & Chaos - The Legendary Path of the Soul Enlightened.

Order Path - White / Silver Skill Particles
  • Order Apprentice (10 Levels) - Knowledge - Low Wep/Armor
    • Movement
    • Range
    • Self Buff
  • Order Inquisitor (10 Levels) - Harmony - Med Wep / Armor
    • Melee
    • Self Heal
    • Teleport
  • Order Grandmaster (10 Levels) - Serenity - All Wep / Armor
    • Group Heal
    • Group Buff
    • AE
Chaos Path - Purple / Black Skill Particles
  • Chaos Initiate - Passion - Low Wep/Armor
    • AE
    • Range
    • Melee
  • Chaos Juggernaut - Strength - Med Wep / Armor
    • Self-Buff
    • Single Target Life Drain
    • Group Teleport
  • Chaos Darkmaster - Power - Serenity - All Wep / Armor
    • Mass Confuse
    • Smoke
    • Movement

How to obtain:
In order to become soul enlightened, every soul has 6 random classes that they must master. To help you on your journey, you may collect colored [Tome of the Soul]. These have a low drop rate from various bosses. There are 5 total tomes, the last required class to become soul enlightened will not be provided. So this will take a bit of dumb luck and not all players will achieve the status of soul enlightenment. You may also purchase [Tome Boxes] on the store for a nominal amount which will grant a random colored tome to assist you.

After Soul Enlightenment:
Once you have achieved Enlightenment of the Soul, you will be able to choose between Chaos and Order. These two classes are the ultra advanced classes of Herocraft. The order class represents life and harmony, while the chaos class represents death and disarray

Gains Per Level:
5 health, 2.5 mana, 10 attribute points

Leveling Rate:

This class levels at 10% the rate of normal classes (PVE), the class can only level by killing other players (PVP)
(This may change)

EXP/Death Penalty:
25% of current level is lost on death.
+200% on PVP kills
PVP-ON everywhere (can be attacked first, cannot attack first)


Involved Items:
  • [Crimson Tome] - informs the player of the red soul required to become soul enlightenment
  • [Ebony Tome] - informs the player of the black soul required to become soul enlightenment
  • [Ivory Tome] - informs the player of the white soul required to become soul enlightenment
  • [Emerald Tome] - informs the player of the green soul required to become soul enlightenment
  • [Azure Tome] - informs the player of the blue soul required to become soul enlightenment
  • [Crystal of Knowledge] - Informs the player the status of their soul. Has one use, uncommon.

where is says attribute POINTS gained on lvl does that mean we will assign them ourselves? or auto assigned?\
And what do the different color souls do/represent?

Will the random classes be only tier 1 classes or might you have to master t2 to achieve this?

Ermagherd! The hype!!

If someone were to have all the combat classes leveled, would there be a chance to be instantly Enlightened?

I'm super pumped about this, especially if there will actually be one for nuetrality itself.
Playing a a soul attuned to the 'neutral' aspect (it's not neutral in the DnD sense) would be a little funky, haha. I could see it having an interesting play type, though.

How can they level if their level is 1 with 1 spell and tumble and can't level from mobs? They can't take someone out with a single spell
