So I logged on for the first time in about two months, as I do every now and then, and VOILA! "You cannot use this diamond hoe, it has been removed from your inventory" SAY WHAT?

It appears that I am actually a lost soul. If this had to do with my activity fair game but I'm so NOT keen on starting from scratch again

Petition it in game, supporters will have their levels returned to them.

Yeah do what Angy said. It's a T1 perk to have your levels restored from a backup if you've been inactive long enough for them to be wiped.
