Ninjas and Armour

Let me get straight to the point. I know that I as a ninja as well as other ninjas don't get very good armour. Leather armor can at most block 2-3 good blows from an iron sword and its durability is very bad. If ninjas got chainmail this would make things better as seriosuly our armour is bad. If any other ninjas would care to help me persuade people please reply.

Why would ninjas where chainmail, they are rouges that makes no sense, they have sneak so they can get behind people and have the advantage, and plus server is hardcore thats why everyone doesnt get every armor and weapon it just makes no sense to have metal armor if your an assassin

Ninjas typically aren't known as good meat shields/blood tanks, and as such they're not very good at, well, being hit. A Ninja's defensive capabilities generally lie in not being hit in the first place! As such, any stealth and range abilities suit the ninja better. Given that ninjas need stealth, chainmail doesn't make a whole lot of sense. As someone who's got plenty, I can tell you it's not particularly quiet.

Leather armor would allow the user to remain relatively quiet while still offering protection. The ninja can remain undetected and still rain death upon its targets!

Full chain mail would just be over powered. I am a ninja and sure i hate not having armor. but full chain mail that is crazy talk maybe only chain mail chest plate would work be cause it does block a lot of attacks its less durable than iron armor.
