Bug New Player LootTable OP

Can someone please check to make sure that Veterans are on the same loot tables as players who the server "met" in recent months?

I have personally never gotten a drop of any custom item. Several newer players have managed to have a much higher drop rate than the older players in my town, so I thought I would ask someone to doublecheck.

edit: not referring to enchanted armor dropped from mobs that are wearing it, just Heroes-edited item drops.

I can say that as a newer player I have never onces seen a hero edited item drop on the server

I have never found a drop as a vet.

Probably just RNG being RNG. There's only a 0.05% chance to get one. Loot does not currently scale with mob difficulty and favors killing more mobs than killing harder mobs. Thus likely new players, since they can't handle the hard mobs, are sticking out closer to spawn and thus roll for RNG more often than veterans.

Personally my PvE kills are within the 5000s and my 2 custom drops are close enough to the expected 2.5.

There is no special loot table.
1) Veterans are members - they are listed as whitelisted in the permission file.
2) The plugin doesnt make a bias as to the persons age on the server.

The good news is - these "rare" items were just the hybrid system that we have in the works and you will see loot a bit more often (and random stat'd)

@mung3r can confirm as he holds the source of EcoCreature.

Tip: You get better loot while partied.
Tip: You get better loot while its raining / stormy or at night.
Tip: You get extremely better loot while in the nether.

Oh good, I just wanted to make sure becuase it really seemed like players who had played before the introduction of custom items where seeing less drops than those who joined after. Thanks for the tips too!

I have the worst luck when it comes to this, mastered two classes last weak and I didn't get a single rare drop (the 2nd class I mastered I was in a party for most of the time too)

Well, i guess im lucky aha,I have mastered one class on this map and have had two drops, an axe and hoe i believe not to sure on second.

I spent 3 hours In the nether yesterday fighting pigman and got nothing but regular gold swords, a few gold nuggets and some rotten flesh.
