New Crop Griefing Rule

This new rule that is stated only in the rules section of the wiki is effective as of today, October 1st, 2012.

Plants must be left in a position where they will regrow to their original state. (Effective 10/1/2012)

Can an announcement please be made of things like this?
Players do not reread the rules weekly and would not know of such a change that could get them in a heap of trouble.
