Hello All!
So after a lot of testing and research, I came up with a new and improved way to manage our mods. Let me tell you, this way is EASY. If you mess this up, you have some serious issues!
1) Get a fresh install of 1.7.2.
2) Get the latest version of Forge (my personal build of choice is 1023) located here: http://files.minecraftforge.net/
3) Double click the installer to install Forge to Minecraft. (Be sure you choose the directory of your .minecraft if you changed it from the default!)
4) Get the latest version of LiteLoader located here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1868280-172api-liteloader-for-minecraft-172/
5) Double click to install Liteloader; be sure to chain it to forge.
6) Run Minecraft, and if you've done everything correctly, you should see a 'mods' folder show up inside of your .minecraft. (This is where everything else goes!)
7) Get the latest version of your preferred Optifine build (I use 1.7.2 D1) located here: http://optifine.net/downloads.php
8) Get the latest version of MacroMod from here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/467504-172-macro-keybind-mod-01002-beta-release/
9) Now for the trickiest part...Rei's Minimap...this one took a lot of hunting and testing. Download the FORGE compatible version here: http://bit.ly/1hEAUST Best news of all is this should also work for MAC/Linux users!
10) Place the Optifine file, MacroMod file, and the Rei's Minimap file inside the mods folder in your .minecraft. (They go in /mods/1.7.2!)
11) Run Minecraft and you should see 5 of 5 Mods loaded in the bottom right, and the MacroMod screen should be active when you run the game.
Additionally, you can find tabbychat here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/3vvo7k1i4f48age/TabbyChat-1.11.0-pr-all.zip Be aware that item linking and url linking don't work if you have this installed.
You can also get World Edit CUI here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/2171206-172-worldeditcui/ This allows you to see WorldEdit selections for personal regions and towns.
Those will also go in the same location as the other 3 mods.
Please enjoy and if I missed anything please let me know!!!
Cheers!
