Nether expedition

I'm planning to change to necromancer soon and I'm trying to put together a team for colonizning and possibly starting a town in the nether.Its gonna take me a bit to lvl necromancer so no rush. If u want to join just apply with the simple application below

interesting idea, though the lack of water there will make it harder to farm. i am currently a level 43 necro, and i can tell you it feels like slow going to get those lat few levels till i can get into the nether. not to mention i have been collecting the orbs the old fashion way lol. i wish you and you team luck.

IIRC, the ice trick does not work anymore.

You'll have to eat apples, you can get them from trees. Mushroom soup can also be made. Don't forget meat, if you have the right players to make a farm.

As far as making a town, they are only able to be made in Bastion. But good luck on this expedition of yours.

While they can't get a 'regioned' town, they are welcome to try to set up an unofficial one there

Hmm. This question hasn't popped up in a while and it's not written down, so I'm not sure, but I believe you can't. Kainzo ?

Also - doesn't the Nether get "reset" fairly frequently? This would be something to consider when building a town in the Nether.

we wiped the nether clean from anything past 500R. So it wont happen for a while (if ever)
The nether is still considered "volatile" you are welcomed to build, use LWC/Regions there. We may (at a later date) restrict the use of some donor powers in the Nether.

Kainzo - There is a major Minecraft update slated for sometime in February that will add "Nether Quartz" to the Nether. Are you planning on regenerating the Nether, or just going without this block? This is something else to take into account when building a town in the Nether.

Ok I'm a lvl 17 necromancer and with 125% exp lvling fast did that within an hour

ah yes, but it takes much more when you are higher level, add that to the fact that i am married with 2 small kids lol, but i still think ill hit it before you get there. lol

ok, so just for clarification, upon entering the nether you end up in hte nether "spawn". how about when you leave it? or should the party just use their recalls?


As of 0100 pacific time I am level 50. tomorrow Ill head to the nether to collect stuff i want, but I will gladly take others once they post here. Let the expedition assemble!!
