Bug Negative jump boost on warmups.

I get the idea behind it, but right now its a really annoying bug, its about 50% of the times at least when you get giched. Maybe remove it and increase the slow until theres a fix for it.

is this only enabled in pvp combat? for some reason i notice it in pvp but not when fighting mobs.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended, but if it is a bug it should be fixed back to how it was.

If it was intended, this is honestly a bad fix to being able to sprint jump while casting a warmup.
I can see how this is an idea to counter classes such as Cleric so they cannot kite as well while using their healing spells. But the fact that their big spells such as SacredTouch already have a long warmup already counters their kiting since they are slowed for a much longer period of time. Having increased slowness/negative jump boosts also affects other classes such as Bloodmage, which requires being able to kite while casting spells. Imo, it was fine the way it was before this change. You also have to consider speed potions, which pretty much majority of the people who pvp has, that can also catch up to these people trying to cast a spell.

i seem to get this in pve now when not on fire, just freeze in place / spazzing until warm up over. Not opposed to new ideas to reduce kiting but this just feels funky / like im lagging massively.

Ah, I forgot to tell you. Whenever you start a warmup, you basically freeze in place/spaz whenever you try to jump during the warmup. For the fire ticks, I was referring to a glitch where you get shot up high into the air.

No, but seriously, whoever did this is stupid. Remove the negative jump boost but increase the slow potency.

you can superjump using fall damage too, also you can not take fall damage.

No worries now. Kainzo fixed this bug last restart. It is fixed for now.
I am glad this was taken out again.

I don't see what is trying to be accomplished here. Melee has always been the easier class to mess someones day with and right now that is 100% the case. With golden armor being taken out soon etc. why the hell are we making casters have a harder time moving? A few of them are already struggling right now I'm looking at you wizards, and necros. We should focus on numeric values of skills not mechanic changes.
