Bug Necro Skill Despair

DESPAIR:
You deal (50 + 0.1-per-level) damage and blind all enemies within 6 blocks of your target (within 15 blocks) for 5 seconds. Takes half a second to warm up.

*End wiki quote*

I take this to mean that a target within 15 blocks can be hit, and once they are, they become an epicenter of despair, with enemies 6 blocks around the target also being affected.

However, necros have been confirming that the skill only affects those within 6 blocks, and I can confirm that it works as an AoE rather than a skill that needs mouseover.

I think that the skill would fit necro better and lead to more complex, impressive pvp if it worked as described. Right now, it is a short range AoE, rather than a long range debuff-spreading skill.

The wiki is based on the skill in-game not the other way around so I am pretty sure that this is intended.

I agree that the game is more correct than the wiki, and I understand that this COULD go under suggestions.

Since the wiki's version is more unique and complex than "just another AoE" (damn I sound spoiled, all AoEs are unique and awesome now with fireworks/sounds), I would like to see if we could change the skill to how it was intended to be written.

Consider this, blinding an enemy within 6 blocks is about 1000% less useful than blinding an enemy 15, or even 10, blocks away. Also, since I believe the blind effect can still be negated with some legal mods (not naming any names but we all know), this skill may be waiting for a fix to that mechanic exploit.

EDIT: Obviously limiters, most likely a larger resource cost and a 1-2 use per fight cooldown, would be included in the huge Buff of 6 to 10-15 blocks range for the skill. I just think it would be better if a skill with the blind effect made it harder to find the necro, currently it does not.

I thought blind only darkened vision.

Anyways, I would love to see some future tweak that allows the blind effect to reach its full potential as a mechanic. Not any time soon, since people are making "nerf necro" threads I guess.

Necros don't need a nerf in my opinion if they compare all their abilities to wizard wizard does way more damage and its all upfront u don't have to wait for it

By the
Bonafide is a necro, and a 15block range AOE dmg that prevents sprinting seems way too powerfull.
by the way I can pay u back in game for that loan now. I've been mining!
