MortalWound is currently having its damage reduced by players wearing armor, testing on a Ninja in Armor, it did 152 total. Without armor it is dealing 197 damage. Also, strangely enough it is dealing a weird amount of instant damage. 68 on the Ninja with Armor, 77 without. This damage is accounted into the total damages above.[DOUBLEPOST=1358166956,1357867854][/DOUBLEPOST]Bump

You're telling me that mortal wound is supposed to be dealing more damage than it already is?

God help us.

Well it depends, on squishier classes, yes it is dealing more damage. However heavier classes are taking less damage then they should be. Overall the plan was to reduce it's damage across the board, but something went screwy and its dealing too much.

I tried it in game and it dealt 227HP damage after 15 seconds while I had no armor on. While wearing leather armor it did 179HP damage. The Wiki advertises it at 150HP damage.

In-game is usually more correct than Wiki. Note that this is a skill that has a "Bleeding effect" that does damage and halves healing during that time.

It should be penetrating armor traditionally though I dont think it is.

Mortal wound is intended to be dealing this high of damage to all targets?

Honestly though, Samurai's are already plenty strong, and most of the server thinks they are actually stronger than they should be.

If mortal wound is actually "bugged", and supposed to be doing more damage than it already is, I do not think this is a bug that should be fixed. If it does get fixed, I think it should also be nerfed in the same update.

You are looking at this the from a very narrow persepctive. Fixing mortal would might hurt armored targets more but not fixing it destroys anything with little armor. Shouldn't allow bugs to persist to balance a spec.

Re-tested 5 minutes ago. MortalWound damaged an unarmed target for 197DMG. It dealt 227DMG yesterday.
