More PvP-free area / Starter area

I just recently started playing with Sedriel, and so far the biggest problem we have is the players. As soon as we leave the city, someone pops out and kills us. We don't get a chance to get wood to be able to make anything to survive. There needs to be some sort of starter area that is PVP-free so that lower level players are able to get the few things they need to survive.

We've given up on the server because of this. You can't bare-handedly kill any monsters, and we can't make any equipment because of the players. We're in a deadlock and it's extremely frustrating being constantly griefed, though not considered griefing by your terms.

This. And some more hints, dont walk on the main roads, keep trying, watch your back etc. I got killed three times trying to exit spawn but now I have a cozy little home thousands of blocks away.
EDIT: also, if you really are tired of this, try back in a couple of weeks or even a month when most people are settled in and there is less road-ganking.

@JackDub this should solve your problem. Most people don't camp Herogates.

If you give a call for help on o and say that the road is being camped, there will usually be people who will try to help you. But they won't always be around.

Like Steamed said, stay off the main roads and away from mobs, at least while you're a starter. Mobs get easier to kill as you level higher and gain more hp/more efficient skills, and you'd eventually be able to take a shot at road campers (Who are mostly there for the xp) and help other newcomers out.

I personally am Anti-PK - but since I dont normally play as a player, my hands are tied - I just hope there are guilds (like KoK) to defend the newbies.

Aren't the roads from Dragongarde noPVP? So you can walk down the road and hop off the road when its safe!

Aren't the roads pvp?
I SWEAR people walk on the roads and then campers slay them, on the road.

The roads are nopvp outside spawn for about 100 blocks, enough to hop off the road and make a run for it

Unfortunate that you both had run into such a problem and that you hadn't given it the patience to try other means, good luck elsewhere.
