Mods for mac **HELP**

So I've been trying to install the mod pack that has zan's mini map, improved chat, and all that good stuff. I do not believe it's the mods giving me the problems but I think it is modloader. I know modloader doesnt work for 64-bits but It says I typed a code into terminal and it said I had a 32-bit. I need help! I'm tired of typing out /cast recall :p and f3ing every where I go.

First off I don't understand where you're having a problem with the 32 bit vs 64. I'm running Snow Leopard fine with the latest Java installed and have all the mods running perfectly fine. In fact, I was able to use mcpatcher v. 2.1 or something to install the mods for me. Just make sure to select the zipfile with it.
