Bug Miner : experience bugs ?

Hello,

While the wiki says (http://herocraftonline.com/wiki/Miner) that the miner gets exp also from crafting .. from crafting what ?
When i was simply a crafter, i could get exp from crafting pickaxes for example.
Now i don't. As a miner, i don't get experience from crafting my tools. That's a bit odd.
I don't get experience from crafting rails. Or carts.
I don't even know if i actually get xp from anything i craft.

That's a problem .. well if you consider that the wiki would be right.

Also, i tried the "superheat" skill and it looks nice, smelting as i mine ? How cool.
Except the experience from the ore is kicked out of the equation. I don't get the smelting experience (that i would eventually get from using smeltiron/gold) and 0 experience from the block i'm mining, also it seems it simply skips the mining passive (so no double ore) .. ergo : just don't use this skill, pure loss. Or needs some serious reshape.
It was also said (on the help chat) that this skill would give stone blocks instead of cobble, i can confirm it doesn't.


What can be done about these 2 issues ?

@Wifibee your concerns about the Superheat skill not providing the exp for the ores smelted are well worth looking into! Superheat is one of Miner's signature skills, and as currently configured it seems a liability more than an asset - and perhaps would only be used by a maxed Miner who doesn't need more exp.

I'm just going to point out that it has not given EXP for 3+ maps.

@nonamemajdeath please read through the thread I linked. My understanding is that crafting exp was indeed re-enabled earlier in 2014.

My bad, should have been specific, I was talking about superheat.

edit: And as some support for you.. crafting EXP was re-enabled around the start of Aegis, but its been really on and off for the past few maps though. (bugs I think)
