I noticed through the vote links that there is only 20-some people on right now. And minecraft is down for me.

I assume it is down for everyone else who tries to get on and those already on are good to go because it is the login server experiencing problems.

Any truth to that?

Mojang's log-in servers were borked. But everything should be good now.
