Bug Merchant can't use fishing rod?

I thought it was a permission issue with Disciple because I can't use fishing rod, but I've heard from another user that they could fish when they played the class and I've never been able to use it, so I'm guessing it's Merchant conflicting.

I can't use it either, isn't it so that only farmers can use it?

Engineers can use it, alchemists. I think every profession can except for Merchant, I'm guessing it's just an oversight.

why would merchents need to fish.. they can just buy/sell fish from the fishermen...

That isn't the point. The point is everyone else can but merchants. Its probably just a oversight.

Wrong, not everyone can use fishing poles.
