The Runesmith is the new Scribe.
Runesmiths can write books (I can't tell if other professions can do too), but they cannot copy their books, that's for sure.
It is really annoying when you write a guide (book) and you cannot copy it for other players.
I'm mentoring some players and would like to copy my guide books.
I am a Runesmith lvl 42, I can write books, but everytime I try to create the so called "written book" in the workbench, aka a copy of the original, the following message appears:

"You don't know how to craft written book".
There is no skill whatsoever indicated anywhere, neither in game in /skills nor at the Runesmith wiki entry.
According to http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Written_Book I did everything right: Just put the original book into the workbench and then add a Book & Quill to create a copy.
But regardless if it's a Runesmith thing or not, it does not work. So either it is a bug, it hasn't been implemented or it was taken out on purpose. Is it an issue with vanilla? If it has been deactivated, why? I'd like to have it added, I see no issue why players shouldn't be able to copy books, which is why I also suggest the implementation at this point.
If not for others, then at least for the Runesmith, since it is the new Scribe profession. "Passive Skill lvl 1: Write & Copy books" - make it happen.
