Mayorship Transferability

My mayor (c12095) was trying to transfer mayorship over to me because he will be inactive over the summer, We tried to pass ownership over, and were unable too. I was told to write a bug report over this.

I do believe it is impossible until the town plugin is fixed and updated,

From my own experience a town can have multiple "Owner"s which qualifys as Mayors I guess. As long as you're made an Owner you should be fine.

yeah, idk i was told to make a bug report by kainzo because he wants it so you can transfer mayorship through the http system.

it's not a bug. right now mayorship must be transfered by an admin until we get Voting for mayors in place.

I'm not sure if there are any checks right now for the multiple owners thing, but it will eventually force only 1 mayor at a time.

Multiple owners do not work. It did work the first weeks of this map, so some old towns may have multiple owners.

i have P.E twice now and been told twice now by @Lastivity that transferring owner of region is not possible, so are we getting misinformation?

you are. I know I've told multiple mods how to promote someone to Mayor again. Some people may not have permission to do it.
