Lost Forever?

I cannot find my way back to the main castle after I died, I am completely and utterly lost and I feel it may have ruined the entire server for me. How do I get back to the spawn? I found one town in the middle of a snow biome on a patch of non snowy land, which had a house on a cylindrical mountain, It was all I could find. I keep passing a giant sandstone tower fortress thing stretching into the sky, and a tunnel with colourful ores all over, but it seems I'm going in circles. The graveyard I spawned in was in the middle of nowhere, which, in my opinion, is pretty dumb.

Should I just kill myself over and over to find somewhere that looks familiar, or spend countless hours walking in a random direction, because I'm honestly ready to just quit playing the server entirely. Seriously, I hate the graveyard system.

I don't understand how warp works, and I got caught in a perma trap.
Have suggestions?

Use /skill warp - to teleport back to spawn or use /kill.

Use /skill mark - to select a "marked" waypoint then use /skill recall - to go back to that way point. It requires 10 redstone (which can be purchased at any graveyard)

You could just walk towards the coordinate's 0 , 0.
Most servers have that as there spawn.
