I've been struck with the plague. I'm getting a "too many failed logins" message when I try to access Minecraft with my downloaded client. This is apparently a common issue at the moment, and does it ever suck.
Tried clearing everything out and redownloading but all I've done is take away my own ability to play offline, as I don't have the appropriate files anymore and re-downloading them requires logging in. I can use the mc.net client just fine so I still have an in-game presence, but it means no ImpChat and no minimap.
If this has happened to anything else or people have workarounds, stick 'em in here (even though it seems like the ball is in Mojang's court). Maybe it'll help out more Herocraftians than just me.
