I'll check this out later, some of these should already work with it though many probably need to be set.

lot of those skills do physical damage?????

idk what parry magic is but im assuming it should only work vs magic?

Parry magic like devour magic only works for Pure magic skills, most of those skills are listed in the code as fire magic, holy magic, etc. So none of those are affected by devour and parry

Er... what? It works for any skill that does damage and is listed as SkillType.MAGICAL for some reason or another. There is no "pure" magic, just that skills like Bolt are only SkillType.LIGHTNING (or whatever element you want) without listing that it's MAGICAL.

To be honest, atm I can only parry Pulse and FirestrikeTotem... All others just go through.
We already know the problem, the list is just for me to go through and check, possibly add MAGICAL to its types so it'll work.

ik reckoning and divine stun do physical damage as do a majority of the disciple skills and probably more
Reckoning: PHYSICAL, MAGICAL, FORCE
^ This counts as both, could be BladeGrasp'd or ParryMagic'd probably

DivineStun: LIGHT
^ This counts as neither, though based on its STR scaling I would be tempted to give it PHYSICAL.

Disciple:
  • FistOfJin: N/A
  • Smite: LIGHT (should probably get MAGICAL)
  • SafeFall: N/A
  • ForcePush: MAGICAL, FORCE
  • ForcePull: MAGICAL, FORCE
  • FlyingKick: PHYSICAL
  • Chakra: N/A
  • Renewal: N/A
  • IronFist: PHYSICAL, FORCE
  • Barrier: LIGHT (should probably get MAGICAL)
  • QuiveringPalm: PHYSICAL
  • TornadoKick: PHYSICAL
As-is, 4 to 2 though I'll probably change those two to magic thus showing it's even.

Okay, how about for skills whose damage scale off of Intellect, be put into MAGICAL, and the ones that simply scale off of Strength be PHYSICAL, unless mentioned otherwise? That would make confusion a lot less as to what kind of damage us Samurais/Honorblades are up against.

Either that or make ParryMagic flexible to parry the various types of magic damage.
