Level 55.99999999

So after reaching level 55.999999999 I noticed that when I tried to do mob arena with some of my buds, I leeched exp from them. I don't know whether this was intended or not, I would just like to know if it can be fixed because at the moment, it is very annoying to level some of my friends. :/
