  4. How long have you been on Herocraft?:July 2011
  5. Why do you think you would make a good guide?:
  • I LOVE this server, most likely a little too much as I play some 40+ hours a week, and when I'm not playing I'm on the forums.
  • I am older and more mature than the average player base. I am able to view things objectively and possess the critical thinking ability that so many players lack.
  • I understand the game backwards and forwards
  • I understand the server backwards and forwards, am familiar with all rules, have researched plugins, and over a period of time through observing actions of admins/mods/guides I can guess what they are going to do/say in most any given situation
  • I work with Plasma78 and Lastivity. I am very familiar with the process of proctoring. All too often I have some sort of interaction with a player that leads me to believe they are hacking/exploiting in some fashion. I research their username/forum name on multiple websites and come up with examples of other servers they have been banned from, read through forum posts they've submitted on various sites and can get a pretty good feel for them as a player. Then I look at their initial HC application and find they didn't report any of the bans and were blanket approved. I know that at a time some proctors didn't put as much work into researching new players. I want to follow the example set by some of the best proctors and perform the background checking required to ensure we have players that will abide by the rules and have a positive experience in Herocraft.
  • As a player I strive to assist the leadership by keeping the chat channels clean, advising users to submit bug reports exploit reports or problems with players in the forums through the proper threads or private conversations instead of clogging /o with negativity. I find that a one sentence complaint in /o is much less helpful than a fully thought out forum post describing the situation in detail. I also try to help new players in /h as much as possible and take alot of them under my wing in /tells to get them started on the server or to try and resolve situations.
  1. Additional info you would like to tell us?: My goal is to become part of the leadership of the server as a mod / guide what have you, but I believe proctor is a good place to start so that you can get a sense of my dedication to the server and how I fill fit in the future.
