Just started, a little confused how to get anything done.

I believe I chose warrior and crafter as my professions.

I can only use wooden tools and a wooden sword, only leather armor is equipable.

Is this correct? The spiders 3 shot me, zombies 2, etc. Try as I might to kite them by running away and spamming PUNCH they seem to take an incredible amount of damage and spiders are hitting me without coming close to my character.

Is there something Im missing? My short term goal was get a full set of iron and explore the server, however ive shortened that even further to, dont die to spiders attacking you in the day time.

Welcome to Herocraft, its not going to be easy, and your gunna have to bleed, fight and sweat every last pixel to get anywhere. :)

Get friends, party, and conquer the wilderness and vast mines, dig in dark spooky places where your next block very well might be your last. Venture to towns, huts and be wary of other travelers, for they may want to help, help themselves to your goods, leaving your lifeless body to bleach in the hot minecraftian sun.................







As for the spiders hitting you without coming near you, it might be client side lag, as for everything else, your correct. you start off with nothing and work up from there.....

Refer to the wiki. Warriors can use iron swords I believe, and wear amor

A warrior may use an iron sword and an iron chest plate.
As you level you gain more health which will help you against mobs and other players
