Just joined, Hellos and questions

Hello, just joined the server. Spawned in what I presumed to be a tutorial-land... Only problem was, all the signs are blank! After a while of figuring out that I couldn't chat or do anything (lol) I just started walking, but then I got to signs that wren't blank and they were telling me how to do things...

So I guess what I'm asking is what am I going to be missing due to blank tutorial signs?

I do believe if you try logging out and back in again it should sort the issue.

Restarting Minecraft should solve the sign missing issue - if not we'll have to inspect it further.

I would agree with you if not for the fact that quitting entirely out of the game client and logging back in and everything seems to do nothing as far as the signs are concerned.

Heh, and a zombie appears to have spawned near me while I've been chilling in the tutorial area...... Made me laugh.

I sorta feel badly now, causing all this trouble. I've seen sign problems before, but I thought they were fixed in 1.4.4. Don't quote me though, I really know nothing. I'm new here. Hi.

Sign issues are a result of the anti-xray not updating signs. They are 100% fixed when exiting MC / reopening.

Just tested.

Well, now that you said that, I logged in again (after being murderilated by that zombie) and lo-and-behold, signs are fixed. See, all I needed was that reassurance. I'm just kidding. I'm not sure what the issue was. I promise I wasn't trolling you

EDIT: Hehehe it seems it just decided to change which signs were visible and which were blank. Now the five signs in the intro room have text, but the next room's signs do not.

I WILL get through this tutorial. Even if I have to relog a dozen times. >
