Ok first of all welcome back, I will try and tell you all that is happened
First of all Herocraft was DDoS'd (DDoS to my knowledge is like a giant spam on herocraft making it impossible to run) by a Brazillian server called craftlandia, everything herocraft related was being attacked so instead of doing lots and lots of hard work Kainzo decided to wipe DG and make a new map which is called Bastion I believe. Now for the changes:

There is a cap of 25 towns now.
Swordmage will be replacing Geomancers.
New classes are being implemented.
New skills are being implented.
Auto taxes are being implemented.
lvl 10's and under cannot use pvp.
There is now a Greylist so players can go on and master classes, but they cannot build or mine. But they don't have to apply for a whitelist.

I don't think there is anything else and I hope to see you on the 7th of September
