I used to play Herocraft and decided "Hey, I want to play a really good multiplayer server again, I wonder if I'm still on the whitelist", and sure enough I was. I played on this server right before classes were implemented. I was apart of a town called Pendelhaven, which was apart of the Nobel Republic of Aegis. Now as I can see a lot has changed since then, so I was wondering if I could be brought up to speed.

Quick and small major things:
Heroes: Restricts weapons, but increases health, damage, and adds more abilities
Mods: Several new mods have been added. (Like Punisher)
Treecreepers: They're bad unless you like pvp
Townships: Increases in prices and tax?
Rules: Maybe once or twice

That's just off the top of my head what has changed.

Look at it this way @Alantar

New forum

New map :p

Our class mod is Heroes! We got it here first and we are the loyal test subjects as Kainzo and the coding team perfect it :p

Here's where you go to learn about the classes:
http://herocraftonline.com/wiki/index.php/Heroes

I'll briefly summarize (and I mean brief)

5 Paths, 4 classes for each path

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Warrior (likes to hit stuff and get hit)
Rogue (likes to hit things and kill them, and doesn't like to get hit)
Caster (likes to kill things in one hit using magic, will die if they get hit)
Healer (loves to heal people who like to get hit (like warriors))
Crafter (for people who want to make alot of money, and want to get killed by monsters and people)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

IMPORTANT: When you get a path to level 50, and you have some cash. You can then "specialize" (or spec for short) into a new class. It's these classes that have all the cool skills.

Warrior Classes:
Dragoon - The hunters of the Warrior path, there is no escape
Dreadknight - The anti-magic Warrior
Paladin - The one that gets hit alot and doesn't die
Samurai - The one with the lowest health of the warriors and MOST damage

Rogue Classes:
Beastmaster - http://youtu.be/J9hXyT3nRa8 (skip to 4 minutes in)
Thief - Highest Damage in the game, lots of skills to get out of places (like Jack Sparrow would :p)
Ninja - Highest Damage in the game, Skills to GTFO out of fights and come back for the kill
Ranger - Get to use the bow (just like beastmasters) but have bow related skills. They can also get ppls coords.

Caster Classes:
Wizard - Lots of cool utility skills. Port to spawn(with a party), group teleport, BOLT STORM, etc.
Geomancer - Like the normal caster but with alot of skills. Best for Casters who like to fight alone
Necromancer - Like the Geomancer, but with different set of skills and can teleport into the Nether
Enchanter - They are very effective in parties (nasty effect spells like piggify), not so good on their own.

Healer Classes:
Cleric - Healing tank of doom!
Bloodmage - Selfish healer
Druid - Best party based healing
Monk - KING OF IRON FIST TOURNEMENT

Crafter Classes:
Mason - Exclusive Falsebook use ( they get [GATE], [LIFT], [BRIDGE] )
Alchemist - Exclusive Cauldron use (they can make unattainable blocks like Ice and Mossy Cobble)
Engineer - Exclusive IC use and Piston use
Smith - Can repair weapons and armor
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As for your townies, I'm not sure what happened to NRoA, the ppl from there have since spread out to other places :p
Oh! And to pick your first path, type /hero choose <path> then type /confirm :p
If you have questions, you know how to go into help chat :p I'm sure the community or a [GUIDE] like me will help you out! So go forth and become a hero! :p
