Reason for ban: Claimed I was using a "dark room".
Your story: I had found this room once before and had a townmate ask about it. We were told to put down some torches and it would be fine. We did so. I recently entered it again out of curiosity and found that someone had messed with the torches. Torches had been placed in such a way that large patches were unlit and mobs were spawning in large quantities once again. I began to pickup the torches in an attempt to fix what this person had messed up. I filled in the pathway down to the room with torches, added a few at the base, then moved to a corner to add torches to one of the "rooms" that were there for storage. I was in the process of adding torches ontop of this spot when zombies attacked me. I slew them and turned around to place more torches. Several players immediatly dropped from the ceiling and attacked me. I tried to run away to get a chance to type, but was not given this chance. Being that I sneak constantly (ninja skill) I found it odd and began to talk with FrozenAshes_ about it. I felt he was using a wall-hack or player ESP. When I threatened to put in a petition against him for it to have an admin investigate, he told me that he would report me for the room. I was in the process of trying to explain that it was not MY dark room, that it was a room I was trying to fix, when Gabizou kicked me and deleveled me.
I have an odd method, I am aware. I like to make rows of torches if they are on the floor so it looks neat and this was what I was attempting to do before I was killed. I believe that Frozenashes_ and those he was with purposefully came after me because I was attempting to fix the room to prevent its further use. I also believe that they used the Petition to keep me from returning to my deathchest while the admin kicked me. I feel that this is an instance of griefing by means of false petition and would like to have FrozenAshes_ investigated on this.
Thank you for reading this and cooperating. I am more than happy to point to the EXACT areas that I have placed torches and even admit to the removal of bad placed torches to repair the room. This should be thanked by the staff (as this is not the first time I have found a room used to farm mobs and reported/fixed it), but I am content with knowing that I have stopped someone from abusing the area.
