Reason for ban: Massive griefing (According to my brother who talked to others who were online at the time of ban)

Your story: I can sincerely say I have absolutely no idea where this came from. I have spent the vast majority of the past two weeks building my town's wall and have rarely gone outside my town.

The only thing I can think of is that I was exploring a bit yesterday and came across a cobble castle in the wilderness. I found a chest with a bookcase on it and I destroyed the bookcase to look inside the chest. I then made a new bookcase and placed it back where it was.

I suppose something else that could have been misinterpreted as griefing under the logs is I destroyed 1000+ cobble the past two days. Although, this cobble was our towns old town wall and I had permission to take it down.

I'm sorry but I'm a newbie to the forum, not sure how to edit my own post

I understand that I made those pillars, but my question is. Why am I just now finding out this is bannable for a week? I have asked in help chat before if its legal, and people said it was.

I also PEed a pillar outside my own town in Halvalor, and the response I got from Xanipher (and I think you too, Gab) is that they are legal and its the towns job to destroy them. You guys told me this rule was in place so that towns that are expanding can legally destroy structures that aren't theirs. The pillar is still outside our town if you want proof. Feel free to look up my PE (if you guys keep closed ones), it was about a month ago.

All that being said, the only reason I have knowingly made those pillars outside towns is because I was told they were legal.

I just got modship yesterday. There wasn't just one pillar, it was 12 pillars made by 8 people united tto get into one township. By far that is massive griefing. I'm not sure what you're referencing to in terms of me saying that pillaring into townships is legal, in my book, it has always been illegal to pillar into townships when in regions. Outside of regions, it's considered griefing, and with a grief like this, @Seratt upscaled this from 1st warning to 1 week suspension.

1 month old petitions are gone, so are 1 month old logs of blocks. If you want to say something is legal, next time get screenies of saying it's legal.

Ok thanks for the responses. 8 man party? Who else was involved? As far as I know I have only pillared into cities alone.

I just want you guys to know that I didn't knowingly try to break the rules. Which is why I'm a bit confused about an entire week of suspension.
