Mod for "Seasons" in Minecraft?

So I was looking around the 'Net and found THIS.

It's from Minecrafties, and apparently it adds real seasons into Minecraft through usage of multiple texture packs that are loaded depending on the "season."

I'm gonna keep looking at it, but I think this would be a GREAT addition to the modpack; however, if that won't fly, would you mods/proctors like to look through it and just allow it as a mod for we little people? :)
