Bug Items Despawning

Just to comment on this;
There was a minecraft bug quite a while ago that affected the item stacking. If an item was dropped (eg cobble stone). It would have 5 minutes from that point until it despawned. However, if any other cobblestone was dropped near it and it binded together, those two cobblestone would still have the original cobblestones timer rather than it being reset to 5 minutes.

All my items despawned and half or more of them were not items that would even of stacked. I haven't heard of what you said is happening actual happen before so it would be nice if more people could comment on their experience with this item despawning.

Ah, I'll try doing some tests with the odd few items I've got around.. Will edit this reply with any findings. Yeah, a lot of people find bugs but don't report them as sometimes they are good bugs (DK's dread aura pulsing every 0.5 rather than 1.5 was one no one reported).
