Issue with in game chat channels

I have had an issue for quite some time where I will ban a player from my town channel and in a short while they rejoin like nothing ever happened. When the player rejoins I ban them again, but it will say they have been unbanned from the channel. So I retype the ban and they are removed from the channel.

What exact commands are you using?

I make sure i'm on the correct chat channel and I type /ch ban <name> It comes up with a message saying <name> has been banned from channel Lorien (something like that), then they rejoin at a later point in time.

Town chat in HTTP and Herochat are two different chat systems... @DThielke ?

I have to example: /ch ban CT EtKEnn , to ban someone. /ch ban EtKEnn doesn't work for me.

Try /ch ban Lor (name here)
