Is it worth it? If so, how can it be improved? (Beguiler)

I was planning on either playing a Beguiler or a shaman once the reset happens. However when I ask people in game whether Beguiler is worth it I get the same answer "No, because of mana problems." Will this be fixed after the reset? And how could I fix the Beguiler's mana issues, from a player standpoint.(Attribute allocation, items, etc.)

In a group you can have a Bard or another class that can help with mana (eg Necromancer's battery). Solo you can use emeralds to gain mana back

And I guess in the new map you can try to get an item with wisdom (mana regen) or intellect (mana pool/damage)

they are on like a 5min cooldown though.
Beguiler isnt as cool as it once was because it doesn't have plaguebomb anymore, but shaman is still really good

Hmm alright, I like the Shaman because they have the ability to revive. Which is pretty nice.

Cleric Druid and Bloodmage also have revive skills
