Bug Im whitelisted but not forum member

I thought that when I became a whitelist member I would also be bumped to member on the forums. I thought that it might just have been a lag issue. Hoped that it would fix itself but still not a member. If this isn't the case please reply with the proper why to become a member as I've then failed to find direction.

Thought it was automatic when you confirm your account with your email. I have sorted it out for you.
