Bug Hitting someone with food is being abused

Hitting someone with food does not enter you into combat.

But once you are in combat, you can be hit with food.

People are using non-tagged food brigades to guard their friends as they border-hop at the Spawn Conquest point.

If you are unclear on why this needs a fix, it promotes border hopping and is an exploit of the ability to knock someone back while remaining untagged.

Edit: I assume Dirt blocks and other non weapons works the same way, and needs a similar fix. Needs confirmation.

All it needs is to deal 0.1 damage, and enter you into combat just like any other melee weapon. We can still have food fights, and no more exploit of the Faliure to Combat Tag yet Allow KnockBack Guarding of Border Hoppers.

Why we CAN have nice things: we have coders who can tweak food/dirt fights to be unexploitable.

I was making a joke on the "This is why we can't have nice things" phrase.

Thanks for the clarification (I was unaware), I just meant that I thought the people who have Permissions to alter config files have one of two titles, "Coder" or "Kainzo". heh.

Ahahahahahahahayouinsolentfool (pls no hurt I was just being silly)

But really, it's admins or Kainzo last I checked. I can ninja edit some code logic to work better, but that's about it, and even then it's limited to skills and a few random functions of the game.

We could set a base damage of '1" to all food in the code... but it can also be a config change.

I'll make the list a little bit shorter for you; literally every item in the game needs to be set to 1 damage aside from items currently being used as weapons.

For sure, which is why changing it in the code is better than listening out 50000 items
