Herocraft Leveling Chart

As you may already know, leveling seems to be a bit of a chore but the end goals are quite worth it. I imported the data from the wiki into Excel and made it into a chart for my own personal amusement (as I never pass up a chance to play in Excel).

I had to calculate the last 5 levels using a CAGR formula to make the chart look smooth, which I hope is on par with what is already in game (the data between levels 55 and 60 was missing). If it is wrong, please feel free to correct me and I will update it.

I dont think is matters, if im correct all class xp per level is the same.

This data is outdated, in heroes 4.0 the max experience for level 60 is around 94,000, the wiki is wrong and needs to be updated. But other than that your graph looks super epic.

Oh yay, @Sigpit this explains why I could never make sense of the figures !

Nuin's chart is still helpful for illustrating how the exp needed to move from level to level increases, so I've added it to the Wiki.

Who has the current leveling figures, and may I have them please? @Alator ? The old figures are inconsistent in places - I'd like to see if this has been sorted . I'll then liaise with @Nuin for an updated chart, ok?

I did some digging. It looks like the actual formula is buried within the code files somewhere, and that surpasses my knbowledge of where to look, heh. However, I can tell you that the new cap is 100,000 exp, so if you wanted to take your curve and adjust it down that should work. Maybe want to have people of various levels spot check it for you.

Maybe if I'm feeling adventurous I can manually check each level later, heh.

These figures are fine - thank you @Kainzo. And the curve doesn't have the hiccups the last one had. To confirm, this scale is used for both caster and combat classes, and for both and spec level classes, yes?

@Nuin might you like to have another play with Kainzo's figures ?

@Sigpit 90k is between the levels for 54 and 56, and 25k is between the levels for 29 and 31.

This is what I've figured out about the /level command so far:

• first line shows levels for combat and crafter classes, achieved level out of max level (lol, I did figure that one out a while ago )

• second line ie Total Exp: first figure is for combat class, second for crafter class. The figures will be between the total Exps given for the previous level and the subequent level (ie at level 12 I had Total Exp of 4179, which is between the amounts given for levels 11 and 13).

• third line ... ain't got this one yet . Any ideas? My total on this line didn't change while my combat class level was steady, and did change when I went up a level, so I think it refers to combat class. In my experience /hero toggle doesn't change this - anyone seen different? But I can't see how the total figure on this line relates to anything on the Exp chart.

The chart is just meant to show the leveling curve, nothing more.

The third line on /level is the hero class level I believe, as I don't see a relation between that and the profession level.
