We at Herocraft would like to welcome you back to our first major release. This has taken the team several months to prepare for and feel very strongly about it! Here's the new material coming 06/15/18. The revamp focuses primarily on a different PVE gameplay, restructuring everything to focus on PVE with PVP Arenas and PVP Objectives still in-tact. In the future, we will be bringing out Township PVP centric maps that greatly reward those who battle for outposts, castles and control.
There is no data reset. We are expanding off of what we have already created. If there's an exp adjustment, your character may go forward or backwards in levels. NO EXP IS LOST.

Races (COMING SOON! PROMISE!)
- Four playable races with passive abilities.
- Over time the passive abilities will be tweaked more for the race.
- Attributes will be granted to races and changable as you level in a future patch.
- Races cannot be easily changed. Resetting your player will not reset your race.
- To change a race, you must find a Race Book to change or purchase one from the Platinum /Shop
- Human - %dmg increase
- Elf - %range dmg increase
- Drow - %mana increase
- Orc - %range dmg increase
- Fresh resource map 5k x 5k fully PVP. Townships can claim here.
- Accessibile via the Planar Archives.
- Unique, progressive items and item types
- Dropped items can have a range of stats, each item will be different!
- Each item type are unique and have specific abilities
- Wands allow casters to have a mini-range attack to thwart enemies from a distance
- Shields now have proper scaling and have a max block value of 80%
- Weapon speeds are now back in, varying with weapon type
- Special abilities on very rare items (mostly unreleased/unfound/requires quest)
- Most rare items will come as unidentified, which hides basic stats and is unusable until identified
- Scrolls of identification allow the user to identify an item. Profession will be able to do this better
- Gemstone system, items can have sockets, you can collect gemstones to enhance your items
- Elemental damage and defense system (Each item can have elemental damage or defense)
- Over 200+ unique items at the start, with 2500+ items planned!
- Items are class and level restricted, some items may not have a restriction based on class or level
- The higher level item restriction on an item, the more powerful the item is
- Level 50 piece of armor may have a health range of 200-500hp
Armor
- New Armor System with Elemental Defenses
- # HEAVY - HIGH ARMOR + SLOW MOVEMENT
# MEDIUM - MED ARMOR + LOW DODGE
# LIGHT - LOW ARMOR + HIGH DODGE + MOVEMENT
# CLOTH - LOW ARMOR
- Several hc.to/store items are now being replaced with the /shop menu
- You can earn platinum via quests and buy it off the hc.to/store
- The platinum shop menu can be accessed with the command /shop
- Trainers now exist for each class, they can be found around spawn.
- Each skill costs 5c per level and must be purchased with coins.
- More rare skills are 50c per level, purchasable with coins.
- All classes now gain significantly more power as they level up, health, damage, mana and stamina.
- Level 1 players start around 100hp and a Level 50 player will have upwards of 4K health.
- Damages and healing scale as well.
- Based on player feedback, several mobs have been adjusted to be more enjoyable.
- Tiers 1 through 3 have been revamped and the remaining tiers are a work in progress.
- All mobs now have a small portion to drop the new progressive items.
- Bosses have a much higher chance to drop progressive items.
- Some bosses will drop tokens that allow the player to turn them in for a specific item they want.
- Due to the extreme unbalance in this new system, the spread between player progression will be severely warped.
- (Level 1, 100hp, Level 50 5K hp)
- Global PVP will be removed from the leveling world (Currently NewAtlas).
- PVP will be available within Townships, Castles, Arenas and other set places.
- The Dungeons will be relocated away from Township claimable land so a better leveling / township experience will exist, in the future.
- Control Packs
- These packs must be carried to their destination to collect coin, platinum and other rewards.
- A player must carry a control pack all the way to the specified location without any teleports and no speed boosts.
- When a player is carrying a control pack, they are highlighted and are slowed for the entire duration.
- When a player starts a control pack mission, the server is alerted with the start and end locations.
- If a player logs out with a control pack, the control pack will be dropped on the ground.
- Only the player who turns in the control pack gets the exp, coins, and other rewards.
- Players carrying a control pack may be attacked anywhere, even respawn points.
- Race Wars
- Races are mostly locked into the player, making a true racial system that will lead players in a rich pvp environment.
- You will not be able to group, township, trade or speak with another players if they are an opposing race.
- An opposing race will be PVP everywhere except for the initial spawn.
In case you missed it:
- All classes have 20+ skills
- A skill hotbar icon system exists for no-client required gameplay
- Skills must be prepared with /hero skill prepare X
- Each T1 class has 7 skill slots available. T2 classes when released will have additional slots.
- Skills require memorization points to prepare and cannot be prepared in combat.
