Hero Evolution

The Hero mod has changed the way Minecraft is played. Skills, Classes, and Exp Gain have added purpose and an overall sense of reward to everyday tasks that once seemed more like a chore then a fun way to spend your time. However, The main appeal of the Hero mod for most is the Combat Mechanics. Unique skills and abilities for different classes with different strengths and weaknesses. Class balancing and party system that encourages reliance on team play to take advantage of the full potential of the mod.
And yet...
PvP is still carried out the same way it always has been in Minecraft. Organize a mass of players, Duct Tape down the left button of your mouse, and rush head first into a group of unprepared: outnumbered players for the slaughter.
Its time to Evolve.
Guild Mission:
- To organize Herocraft PvP that relies on skill, organization, communication, and strategy.
- To offer a safe, regulated, and standardized location for players to practice and refine their skills.
- To continually create new and exciting Pvp styles with unique and customized arenas to compliment each PvP style
- To create a community of players to discuss and perfect Strategies, Team Compositions, and PvP skills for the Hero mod in its current patch.
- To Help players prepare for the HeroCraft Tournament Server when it is available.
- To make HeroCraft players the standard for competitive MineCraft PvP
Hero Evolution will not act like most guild structures. Members will not be asked to pay c to the guild, contribute items, build structures, or fight on behalf of Hero Evolution. Instead membership will simply say that you have read this thread, understand how the guild functions, know what is expected of you with in the HE facility, and you would like to join this group of like minded people; and help it obtain its Guild Missions.
Hero Evolution will stay neutral to all other guilds/townships/players regardless of their status towards HE/other guilds/townships/players. HE will never ask you to do anything that would jeopardize your standings with your current or future guilds/townships. All expectations of players from HE are limited to the HE facility. Also I have no intent on changing HE into a town at any point. Outside of that area you are free to do what ever you please in any manner you please.
What Hero Evolution Has to Offer:
HC will eventually offer a wide range of arena and PvP types. As well as a social network of like minded players interested in progressing Heroes PVP. Currently I only have two 1-3man arenas finished. The HC Facility is Underground so a large space must be mined out before any type of building can be done. As the guild gains members the range of arenas should multiply quickly.
Why Would a Crafter Join a PvP Guild:
Next on my list of "things-to-do" is to mine out the area for a pvp type/arena that will require a crafter to be apart of the party. Being a crafter myself it should be a great experience as well as get the crafters involved in pvp while using thier strengths as a crafter. As of right now HE has a few free shop plots available for crafters to sell items relating to pvp: armor,weapons, reagents, and food. Swing by the HE Facility or /Msg Recknod if interested. More will be added if needed. HE also has an area available for Blacksmiths to sell their services. I am also constantly in search of talented builder. I can get by with construction but most of my creations lack the "Holy Shit" factor that talented builders possess.

Simply reply to this thread with your IGN and your current spec.(if not spec'd put intended spec)
All players/classes will be accepted.
Hero Evolution Rules/Expectations:
Expectations:
Hero Evolution's expectations only apply within the HE Facility. In order for a players skills to evolve, The players themselves must evolve to a higher standard. These are not rules. You may choose to practice them or not. I am not your mother and do not intend on policing every player at all times. They are simply a standard that will help ensure players get along with in the facility and maximize the amount of time spent on practicing and developing HE, rather then arguing and fighting.
- Have a chip on your shoulder? Or a raging epeen in your pants? Leave them at the door. HE should be used to better yourself. There are no prizes to be won. No woman to impress. No stats to be improved. Have fun and Relax.
- Friendly verbal back-and-forth is a natural part of anything competitive. However with online-gaming it has taken the trend of being uncreative and worn out. Words such as: PWN, N00b, Scrub, 0wnd, raped, ect ect ect(the list goes on and on) are frowned upon. Don't use these words or any other variation. The English Language has many words. Find a creative way of using them. Evolve.
- Do not cheat. I will list recommended rules for each arena and PvP type. Rules can be changed and should be agreed upon before every match. As I stated above there are no prizes in HE unless it is a announced event or player to player wager. These are friendly matches to practice and better your skills. Cheating will only hurt you.
- Rage-Just don't.
- Armor and weapons of killed players should be returned at the end of every match. It is merely a courtesy. Again HE is to refine your skills. Not a means of profit.
- Do not group with the player.
- Do not participate in matches against that player.
- Talk to other players about not matching with/against the player in question until they have evolved.
Some rules will need to be made for the general good of the HE community. How they will be enforced I do not know. Again I do not want to police 24/7 or be /msged constantly about violations. So just don't break these rules.
With-in the HE facility:
- Lava buckets/Water Buckets are never to be used in the HE facility. They are cheap and are an unskilled way of fighting. It can also damage blocks it touches and destroy other players armor.
- Do Not Alter the HE Arenas in any way during a match unless otherwise specified by the rules for that PvP type/arena. Blocks get broken on accident during pvp. Its going to happen and i understand that. Simply notify me or the HE staff if it does or fix it after the match. Intentionally altering the arena to gain an advantage in a match is not okay. Don't do it.
- Do Not Dig below the surface level of the HE facility at anytime in a match/ or outside of one unless okay'd by me or the HE staff for build purposes.
- Do Not build/mine/dig/alter/destroy anything in the HE facility without permission.
- Do not /PE anything on behalf of HE. This includes but is not limited to Griefing/Raid harassment/ PvP harassment/ theft involving HE property or the HE facility. Simply /msg me or a member of the HE staff and we will either fix it or send the /PE ourselves.
- And of course follow the server rules at all times. Server rules/admin/mods/staff > HE rules/staff always and every time. I will do my best to adjust HE rules as quickly as possible to ensure conform to any changes made in server rules.
- DO NOT Organize raids/kill/camp/destroy/grief/murder/Take any action under the banner of/or in the name of Hero Evolution. HE is neutral. 100% passive. HE only exists with-in The HE facility. Out-side of that area HE as a collective does not exist. HE does not raid/kill/contract kill/or anything of that nature. Ever. If a member/ or members of HE do any of the above they are acting as individuals and/or on behalf of another group.
- DO NOT Reference HE discussions/ HE forum threads/ or HE as a collective to validate/strengthen a point/argument in a non-HE discussion on the forums or in game. HE is made to work with and perfect what we have available. HE is NOT your personal army to be used in reference to strengthen a suggestion/discussion you are having with the Herocraft staff or another player not in HE.
