Anyways, I was in the nether, I died and spawned in Windhelm, in a bed I slept in over a month ago.
I asked Perl to port me again, he came, ported me, and we ported to Dragongarde Spawn, not the Nether. This was no more then 5 minutes ago.

Anything else?

Barn, Ithink I found out why that one port fizzled

If you use hellgate, you go to the nether, then apparently the NEXT hellgate will return you to spawn, and this gets reset on logging out, I didn't log inbetween those two ports >_>
