Just tried to use hellgate to get OUT of the nether and it didn't work quite right:
note: I had tried to use it earlier by binding Hellgate to an enderpearl.
When I right clicked it USED the enderpearl (teleported me a few blocks forward) and used up the pearl. After the warmup I got several 'you need 6 enderpearls to use hellgate' messages (because I only had 5 left).
Possibly that contributed to the next hellgate failing.
- Was in a party with one other player (Dasoren)
- Typed in /skill Hellgate
- After the warm up I was ported back to my recall spot in Dragon world. Dasoren was left in the nether
- I still had my 6 enderpearls
- a minute later (when I broke a block) I got the 'malphugus has stopped using hellgate' message
