Position applying for: Guide

Age|Timezone: 25 (will be 26 in August) | EST, I think that is GMT -5

How long have you been on Herocraft?: Applied to be white-listed back in the beginning of January 2011, which was the beginning of the Sanctum map! It's been a great 18 months!

Why do you think you would make a good guide?: I would like to think I am a well-known player on the server after how long I've been here. I would also like to think that people view me as a kind, levelheaded helpful player, because that is how I view myself. I just love this community and I try to help out a new player whenever I see them in chat or I see one running by me out in the wild because most people would just kill them. I like to show some compassion and stop to talk to them, and I think that little helpful gesture could be the difference between them playing Herocraft and quitting. Currently I run my own town, I am a leader in my Kingdom's community, I help out other towns all the time with stuff, and as a server Architect players occasionally call on me for help with building things. Basically I am in a position where I am always helping out other people all the time already. I usually answer questions in chat when I see them come up, complicated ones and newbie questions alike. As a Proctor, the people I white-list occasionally private message me on the forum or in-game with random questions which I am glad to help with. To be honest, I feel like I am a Guide already that is just lacking the title and abilities that come with the job. People have told me to apply for this position since end of Sanctum, and I finally feel I am ready for this responsibility. I think its time that I took the next step as part of the Herocraft Staff.

Additional info you would like to tell us?: Some of the below is copied and pasted from my old Proctor application because every last bit of it is still true. Outside of Herocraft I have graduated from college with a degree in Technical Management and might be going back for a Masters sometime soon. During the summer I will be working for a traveling camp with 7th, 8th, and 9th grade kids. I just realized that this age group plays on Herocraft which I find funny. Right now I am working at an after school program until I can find a more permanent full-time job. I love working with kids, it's like I am a real life Guide hahaha. Some of my hobbies include going on random trips spontaneously, driving (lots of people hate driving, I for some reason love it), Astronomy (on a clear night I am always looking up at the stars, moon, and occasional passing satellite) and lastly probably my biggest hobby is Herocraft.

Additional info about my time in Herocraft: Since the very start of my time here in Herocraft I've been affiliated with the town Newerth. I built the town Underdeep on the Sanctum Map, and I built the town Overdeep with a full-scale Underdeep expansion under it on the Zeal map. This map, Dragongarde, I've taken over the leadership role over in Newerth and I am enjoying the experience!

Well, that's about it. Thank you for reading my application! I've been slowly putting this application together over the last week and I just heard a few new guides were already promoted recently or are already picked to be promoted. With that knowledge I realize it may be a bit of a wait before this application is even looked at and considered, so until then know that I will continue to act as I have over the last 18 months helping the community out as best I can by acting like a Guide without the real position.

See you in-game! :)
