- How long have you been on Herocraft?: Whitelisted on Sept. 26, 2011.
- Why do you think you would make a good guide?: First of all I love new players. Especially that new player smell, mmmmm. Seriously though, I tend to answer a lot of questions late at night on the server and figured why not make it official. I know enough information to get a new person started and I can point them in the right direction for everything else. I have been teaching/helping people ever since I can remember. In the Army, I was always the guy who picked up someone new to the unit and showed them around/got them situated. This server can have a steep learning curve, since it is VERY unique to the minecraft community. I simply want to lessen this curve as much as I can. I have started a "new player kit" from gear I get while pvping. Why let stuff sit in a chest when someone can use it? Also, it helps them stick around the server, instead of logging off forever and feeling no love. I am simply getting a starting step to improve the server and get my hands dirty in a job that not many people want. I care about the players here and feel everyone deserves the best experience possible.I even specced as a Cleric so I can help new folks in the MAs.
- Additional info you would like to tell us?: I served in the U.S. Army for 8 years and have been to S. Korea, Germany, Iraq and countless states in the U.S. I am one of the most open minded people you will ever meet and love to have intelligent discussions about anything. I am always the person who almost never talks in a group, but quietly listens and observes everyone. I have always felt the need to share knowledge, otherwise, what is the point of learning? I have been Moderator/Head Moderator/Admin on several servers with more than 50 people. Owners would tend to seek me out for my age and attitude towards other players.I am very "by the book" but I know how to relax and shoot the breeze.
